If you’re like me, you may have just realized that Valentine’s Day is in 3 days! If you’re also like me, you may not have a thing ready! With that in mind, here are my top 4 last minutes Valentine’s Day gifts:
Jule’s Baskets: I was sent one of these before Christmas and I absolutely loved it. Jule’s Baskets was started by Julie Tadeson. A Culinary Nutritionist, Certified Holistic Lifestyle Coach, Personal Trainer, and mindful mom. She worked in the corporate world for years and having seen all the crap that goes into corporate gifting she wanted to provide a health-conscious alternative. A gift that’s practical, yet memorable with the idea that nothing in the gift (not even the box) will be thrown away. If you’re gifting to you’re one love, you might go with a Valentine’s Day themed basket (which range from $130-$175) with ample sexy fun. If however, you’re doing a gift to family or friends, you might want to go with another gift baskets. Jule’s baskets range from $37-$300+ depending on what you’re looking for and they’re free shipping over $150. They can also do same day delivery in the GTA if the order is placed before 12.
South Street Lunch With Free Fries: On Valentines Day, if you and you’re love prefer a more casual fare head to South Street Burger. On February 14 they’re giving away free New York Fries to anyone who buys a burger and puckers up! You can kiss your date, blow a kiss to the cashier or even kiss your hand. The point is smooch = free fries! if you want to go a bit further, why not snap a pic of your best kiss at South Street. Share on Instagram and tag @southStburger or Twitter with the hashtag #Southstburger. Photo’s must be taken at a South Street location and uploaded by Feb 14 at midnight. The winner is $50 South Street bucks!
Magnolia Silver Jewellery: If you’d like to stick with the traditional Valentine’s jewellery route, check out Magnolia Jewellery. They have beautiful pieces that range in price from $40-$80. Pretty savvy for hand crafted silver pieces.
Scotch Tasting at The Caledonian: If you’re looking for something for the man in your life, a scotch tasting is always a great bet. Why not head to The Caledonian located at 856 College Street West? February 17th there will be a Balvenie Tasting and February 20th at 6pm, a Highland Park Tasting. If you can’t make the tasting, a bottle of Balvenie is always an excellent choice.
